Michael F. Cresswell, 78 of Bayville, passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Michael was born March 26, 1944 in the Bronx, New York to the late Frederick and Margaret Cresswell.
He was a loving husband and devoted father. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was very active with the local Alcoholics Anonymous and proudly was sober for over 25 years. Michael enjoyed going out to eat with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Frederick Cresswell; Margaret Maher Cresswell; brother, Freddy Cresswell; cousins, Jerry Smith and John Smith.
Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia Donahue Cresswell; daughters, Claire Duggan and her husband Anthony of Waretown; Marie Cresswell of Bayville; sister in law, Marie Cresswell and Cousin Patricia Blackmer.
