Durlacher, Michael T. of Beacon, formerly of the Bronx, entered into rest Monday, August 22, 2016 at Quaker Hill Manor Nursing Home, Hyde Park, NY. He was 84. Born in Bronx, NY on February 23, 1932, he was the son of Michael T. and Elizabeth K. Revell Durlacher Sr. He retired in 1975 as a NYC Police Officer with the NYPD, he was the first Police Officer at Castle Point, as well as a Police Officer with the Village of Fishkill Police Dept. Michael was a 4th degree member with the K of C, a life member of DAV-CAS Point, a life member of VFW Beacon, American Legion and a Catholic War Vet-Newburgh. He served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon. On May 2, 1978 he married Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Miller at St. Raymond’s Church, Bronx, NY. Elizabeth (Betty) survives him at home. Along with his wife he is survived by his daughter, Michelle Durlacher of Titusville, FL., five grandchildren, several, brothers and sisters in law’s, nieces and nephews.
