Michael De Angelo Sutton better known as “Unc or Mike” to his friends, family and co-workers, was born August 13, 1965, to the late Mrs. Jimmye Mae Bimbo Sutton and Harry Lee Sutton in Birmingham, AL. God called him home to rest on June 25, 2015.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He was a member of Lily Grove Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. He was a loyal, devoted, caring and loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents; grandmothers, Emma Knight Davis and Willie Mae Sutton; two nephews, Willie James Sutton and Tre’Darius Jaleel Sutton.
He leaves the cherish his memory: a devoted fiance’, Lindsay Ray; one son, Martez Antonio Smith; one stepdaughter, Sharon Johnson; four sisters, Harriett (Earl) Sutton, Katrina Sutton, Anita (Mike) Sutton, Yolanda Wiggins; two uncles, Willie Mae Sutton and John Bimbo; one great uncle, Arthur Lee Sutton; six aunts, Johnnie Mae Coleman, Carolyn (Author) McCants, Vera (Fred) White, Kavonne (Randy) Harris, Olivia Bryant, Patricia (William) Belser; three nieces, LeShaundra Sutton, Kiliah (Quest) Sutton, Veronica Sutton; five nephews, Cortez Sutton, Timothy Sutton, Rodricus Sutton, Steve Bibb, Chase Satchel, Nicholas Satchel; one great niece, Shakilia (Marlow) Sutton; three great great nieces, Ja’Niyah Michelle Necole Jones, Kamry Lyneice Robertson, Heavenly Angel Robertson; one great great nephew, Cardia Armania Sutton Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
