Born July 13, 1950, in Logansport, he was the son of Charles E. and Shirley Broughton Osborn. He was married Oct. 14, 1972, in Logansport to Sonja Watson, who survives.
Ozzie had been employed at Dilling Mechanical and prior to that, Hildebrandt’s. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the American Legion Post 60.
Ozzie graduated from Logansport High School in 1968. He enjoyed canoeing, mushroom hunting, the outdoors, NASCAR and his dog, “Joey” as well as his granddogs “Lucy” and “Moe.”
Also surviving are daughters, Brandie (Brad) Osborn, and Nicole Osborn (companion Tom Hildebrand), all of Logansport; brothers: Joe (Joyce) Osborn, Wabash, Charles “Chuck” Osborn, Logansport, and Tyler (Janet) Osborn, Hoover; sisters: Emily (Lynn) Sides, Texas, and Susie (Rick) Herriford, Logansport; grandchildren, Ashley Osborn and Corlee Osborn; sisters-in-law, Karen (Tim) Bohling, Littleton, Colo., Vicky (RJ) Jamila, Fort Wayne, Jamie (Mike) Gentile, Indianapolis, and Shawnette Watson, Logansport; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Tom & Juanita Watson, Logansport; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Osborn; and brother, Steve Osborn.
