Michael David Seckman, 52, of Jacksonville and formerly of Meredosia, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Aperion Care in Jacksonville after a long illness.
He is survived by his parents, Curtis and Judy Gant of Meredosia; three sisters, Trudy Klopfer of Chatham, Ginger (Bill) Towslee of Bryan, TX, and Christine (Gary) Norris of Waukon, IA; one nephew, Derek Klopfer of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was born August 30, 1962, in Beardstown, and attended Meredosia-Chambersburg schools. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, coin and stamp collecting, gardening, listening to music, and spending time with his friends.
