Michael D. Bills, 59, of Boise, passed away at home on Sunday, November 10, 2013.  Michael, “Mike” was born on May 11, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona.

Mike grew up in Boise, graduated from Borah High School, and attended Boise State Technical School.  Mike worked in automotive mechanics out of school and then pursued work in Coeur d’Alene as an EMT and later in Spokane, WA as a Paramedic.  Mike married Connie Perkins, also a Borah High graduate, and together they had two sons, Ryan and Christopher.  They returned to Boise where Mike worked for his father Dewey Bills in real estate.  Mike suffered some debilitating health issues, which led to difficult times, some of which continued until his passing.  Mike and Connie divorced soon thereafter.

Mike rebounded by working for his long-time friend Monty Fleenor, at Nautilus Swim and Fitness.

Mike married Jennifer Wenk in 1997. Together they enjoyed outdoor activities, and Boise State Sports.  Mike was an avid Bronco being one of the first to paint his vehicles blue and orange.  He assisted with other boosters to promote Bronco sports and served on the Bronco Athletic Assoc. Board of Directors.  In his later years, Mike had become an avid gardener.

Mike and Jennifer had three children in recent years, Tucker, Samantha and Sawyer.

Mike’s health issues returned in recent years and more severely the last two years.  Mike kept striving to keep going with the painting business, but was finding it very difficult.  Unfortunately, his health continued to decline and he was unable to keep going.  Mike will be remembered for his tender hearted side, his desire to take care of customers, and a passionate desire to see Boise State win and the Vandals lose.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; their three children, Tucker, Samantha, and Sawyer; his two sons, Ryan Bills and Christopher Bills; his father, DeWayne A. Bills; brother, David (Carrie) Bills; father-in-law, Herb Wenk; brother-in-law, Steven Wenk; sister-in-law, Susan (David) Moore, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara A. Bills, brother, Gary A. Bills, and grandparents.
