On Friday, November 26, 202, Michael (Mike) Charles Camesi of Erie, PA, and Port St Lucie, FL passed away after a short illness at the age of 69 in St Lucie Medical Center. Mike was born in Arlington County Virginia on November 30, 1951, to the late Mary and Alexander Camesi and was one of five children. Alexander (Anita) Camesi, Paul (Alice) Camesi, Marylynn (John) Graves, and Cheryl Ann Camesi.
Mike was a loving man who leaves behind a life partner of 22 years, Susan Marie Smith, and her Son Jeremy Zanghi. mike was preceded in death by his beloved son Casey Camesi and was the extremely proud grandfather of Alexus and Casey Camesi (Mother Leanne Hudy) and many nieces and nephews.
If you knew Mike, then chances are you have heard one of his great dive stories as diving was one of his greatest passions. He traveled to many parts of the world to pursue his passion and being on his boat or in the water was what put him most at ease. He loved to fish and if you had the opportunity to experience one of his fish fries then you were in for a treat.
If Mike wasn’t on the water, he might be found taking a nice long motorcycle ride. He may be hanging at the Hard Rock wearing his best poker face. You may even have had the chance to hear him belt out a great rendition of Wooly Bully.
Mike was also quite the entrepreneur. Perhaps you have had a drywall job done by him or his company. Maybe he was your landlord at one time or another or maybe he was the man who opened the door for you at his favorite place of all, The French Quarter, Inc. He has a big heart and a sympathetic ear. Willing to help those in times of need and always willing to help people get a fresh start. He was a devoted friend to many.
Full of life, kind, generous, passionate, loving partner, father, friend, brother, and son. That was Michael Charles Camesi.
