Michael Carl Lyness, 60, of Great Falls, Montana was called home to God on July 3, 2018 after years of illness.
Michael was born in Morocco, Africa on September 9, 1957. Mike was committed to a life of education and studied computers and religion. Early in life he served in the Marine Corps. Later in life, he studied the bible daily. His Catholic faith was very important to him.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lyness of Portland, Oregon; son, Timothy Lyness of Prattville, Alabama; sister, Dana Flanagan of Tampa, Florida; niece, Jennifer Lyness-Thoms of Tennessee; and nephew, Carl Lyness IV of Orlando, Florida. He also has extended family in Chicago, Illinois and the surrounding areas.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Carl V. Lyness and Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Flynn) Lyness; and by his brother, Carl V. Lyness III.
