Michael Callachor, born January 9, 1937 in Parkes, NSW, Australia, died Jun 13, 2021 after a short illness, with his beloved wife, Desiree, at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Ellen (Cardiff); and siblings Juliana, Peter (Shirley) and Terry (Pam), and is survived by brothers David (Enid) and Julian (Jan); sisters Ellen (John) and Mary, as well as many nieces and nephews.
As a member of the Redemptorists’ Order, Michael served the aborigines in Kununurra, WA for several years. He then attended Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Life brought him to the U.S., eventually settling in Colorado Springs. He continued his mission by being kind to everyone he met and reminding them to say their nightly prayers. We will miss his wonderful stories.
