Michael C. McCandlish, age 71, died January 24, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by family. Successful entrepreneur, accomplished sales professional, author, former police officer and mentor to many, Mike founded The McCandlish Group, a Sales Hiring Executive Search Firm. In 2004 he wrote the “Sales Hiring Handbook” which has helped many sales leaders over the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary McCandlish; and sister, Cathy Fiebig. Mike is survived by, Kristy Stacy; children Joseph McCandlish, Dr. Andrew (Gale) McCandlish, Lynda (Ben) Phlipot, and Kristin McCandlish; grandsons Max and Sam McCandlish; granddaughters Dylan and Emery Phlipot; sisters, Lavi Clausen and Brenda Scholl; aunt, Marilyn Friesland; and many cousins and close friends.
