Michael B. Barsana 57, of Old Great Rd., North Smithfield, died April 25, 2020. He was born in Newport, a son of the late Magdalino and Joan (Tilton) Barsana. Michael worked in video production for several local television stations. His passion was music. He sang, and played the guitar and keyboards. He was a member of the band Freefall, in the 80’s, playing throughout RI and MA. He later played acoustic guitar at private parties. Michael was very poetic and wrote poems and songs for his family and friends. Family meant the world to him, especially his children.
He was the loving father of, Michael B. Barsana and Melissa E. Barsana both of Coventry, He was the brother of nine siblings, Denise Cordeiro, Joni Covel, Linda Camara, James Barsana, Kimberly Barsana, and Maria Barsana, and the late Mark Barsana, John Barsana, and Christina Gould. He is also survived by his stepmother Jackie Barsana, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
