Michael Anthony “Tony” Baker, age 58, of Newnan passed away peacefully at his home with his companion, Lynn, and his dog, Max by his side.
Tony was born in Newnan on June 18, 1961, to the late Cecil Baker and the late Eloise Story Baker. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earnest and Mary Story; paternal grandparents, Walter and Sally Baker; uncle and aunt, Bobby and Shirley W. Story; an aunt, Mary Lou Story; and an uncle, Jimmy Yarbrough. He is survived by his friend, companion, and partner in crime, Lynn Mealor; son, Hiram “ Hoppy” Hurt and his wife Sarah and their child, Wesley; aunts, Shirley Weber and her husband Charles and Virginia Yarbrough; an uncle, James Baker; and many other cousins and friends.
