Michael passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on July 7, 2011. He was born in Portland, Oregon . He moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his family in 1993. He was a graduate of Thunderbird High School in 2005. He joined the Army out of High School and was proud to be a Medic in the 82nd Airborne. He served two tours of duty in Iraq and was able to be a help, assistance and comfort to many of his fellow soldiers. His buddies called Michael “Doc” and he loved that! Michael left behind many people that he made smile, laugh also ones that he comforted. He had many friends and family that loved him dearly. He touched so many lives.
He was an amazing young man with a kind and gentle spirit which made him a great Medic, and a great friend. He truly loved and cared for people.
Michael made a decision to trust the Lord when he was 14 – we know that he is finally at peace, finally able to rest and is in Heaven now watching over us.
Michael is survived by his mother Melanie Kent, father and bonus mom, Roger and Lisa. Sisters, Jaime, Kelsey and Lindy. His grandparents on both sides and a step grandma, four uncles, four aunts, four nephews and two nieces.
