Michael Allen Bennett, a true southern gentleman with an ever-present smile and an inviting laugh passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep at his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida on May 24, 2014. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Colonel Wilmer Bennett and Anne Hutton Bennett. He attended Catholic High School and graduated with a degree in business administration from LSU. In 1987, he married Sarah Reed, also of Baton Rouge.
