Michael Alan DeNardi, 55, Wilder, passed away October 15, 2016.
Mike was born to Joseph John and Mary Aline (Thompson) DeNardi, Jr. in Lexington, KY on January 19, 1961.
Mike graduated from Meridian High School in 1979.
Mike was a caring and loving father to all his children and grandchildren. Family was first! He had a genuine love for the outdoors and spent every moment there. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and camping. He shared that love with his children, family, and friends. Mike was a true ambassador of the outdoors, whether you were a beginner or an expert, he encouraged you to come along for the adventure.
He loved his farm, often referred to as his Funny Farm. He loved hiking and packing with his alpine goats and his dogs. He had a wicked sense of humor that was out of this world! He was kind caring compassionate, had a gentle nature and a caring soul. When he gave his love he gave it all, holding nothing back! He was always willing to lend a hand to help out with anything. He loved a good glass of crown, had a hell raising side, loved a good party, heavy metal, country, and good old rock and roll. He had a passion for having fun; the crazier it was the better! So here is to a great man, flaming marsh mellow fights, 4 wheel drive trucks, Boats, Barbecues, Dutch oven cooking, skinny dipping, toys, campfires and a zest for life many never experience and a craving for adventure! Here is too a great prankster! He will be missed by many and loved by all!
He is survived by his wife, Karlee, his children: Kristin (Bubs) Dayton, Brandi (John) Kessel, Nathan (Kayla) DeNardi, Michaela (Dan Finnegan) DeNardi,Sunny Wahwassuck, a step-daughter, Brook (Andrew Mckinley) Fry his mother, Aline DeNardi ; sister Debbie (Jim) DeNardi-Bier; brother Jay (Lori), Teah and Raeh Stark; Thirteen grandchildren; Bradley, Jadyn, Avery, Tayte, Sadie, Ryan, Sonja, Kyler, Korie, Ethan, Joe, Tanner and Evan.
Preceding him in death is his father, Joseph John DeNardi, Jr.
