BOOKLAND – Michael Alan Bookland, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home. Born July 19, 1979 in Los Angeles; the cherished son of Ronald and Beverly (Warden) Bookland of Georgia. Mike was a talented carpenter and worked for GDS in Berlin for many years. He loved hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved his children and worked hard to provide for them. He is already dearly missed. In addition to his parents, he leaves his loving companion of 7 years, Casey Lynn Colon of Torrington; his beloved children, Wesley Bookland, Bailey Bookland, Kaylee Bookland, Nemiley Bookland, all of Canada, Payton Bookland of Colchester and Michael “Mikey” Colon-Bookland of Torrington; Mothers of his children, sister; Charlotte Drummond of national city; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda Jean Bookland.
