Michael A. Herndon 65, Indianapolis, passed away January 12, 2014, at his residence. He was born August 15, 1948 at Indianapolis to the late Carl Eugene and Mary Reeves Herndon. He married Doreen Weaver Herndon on August 23, 1969. Michael worked in human resources at Poster Display Company for 19 years retiring in 2010. He was previously employed as a production manager at Rytex for 18 years. Michael was a graduate of Ball State University and a member of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his wife Doreen Herndon; son Christopher M. Herndon, Indianapolis; daughter Denise M. (Rob) Wilson, Indianapolis; brother Carl Eugene Herndon, Jr., Alexandria, LA; sisters Sylvia R. Herndon Jackson, Alexandria, LA, Carolyn Y. (Gene) Green, Greenwood, and Gerri Lou (David) Longanecker, North Manchester, IN; and grandchildren Levi P, Emaline J. and Calvin R. Wilson.
