Mia Renae Neumann was born on Saturday, February 3rd at 9:39 in the evening. She was 9.5 inches long, weighing only 8.9 ounces. Her sweet little heart did not beat a single beat, and her tiny lungs did not take a breath, yet she is loved more than can be imagined.
We gave sweet Mia her name because we felt that the meaning was profoundly fitting. Mia means “a child that was wished for” and Renae means “born again (in heaven)”.
With her ten perfect fingers and ten tiny toes, we find peace in knowing that our precious angel baby was already in the arms of God and her many loving great grandparents, even before we first held her tiny body in our hands.
While this time has been truly tragic and our hearts are more broken than we ever knew possible, we will cherish our brief moments with our beloved baby girl, and know that Sweet Angel Mia will be watching over us and in our hearts for eternity.
Baby Mia will be forever remembered, loved, and dearly missed by her parents Sarah and Michael, and her sisters Erin, Abby and Nora, along with her loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more.
