Messiah Diquan Phillips, son of Robert D. Phillips and Cheanna Brown departed his earthly life on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Bladen County, NC.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers: Martha Lee Thomas Brown, Ester Joy Johnson, and Myra L. Singletary.
Messiah aka “Gadget” was an active, fun-loving child that recently celebrated his 3rd birthday, and whose favorite superhero was Spiderman. Messiah touched the hearts of all that met him, and the bond he had with his sisters was unbreakable. He loved gong to his Papa and Grandma Trenisa’s house to ride dirt bikes and he loved his daddy’s truck. One of his mothers fondest memories of Messiah was him greeting her at the door nightly with “hey mommy”, when she came in from work.
