Mervin E. Smith, age 85 of Pensacola passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016. He was born on August 3, 1930 in Basye, Virginia. Mervin served with distinction for 33 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, retiring from the FBI lab in 1986 as a Supervisory Fingerprint Examiner. Mervin enjoyed cheering on his beloved Redskins and Duke Blue Devils.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Eloise Brooks Smith: children Tim Smith, Steve Smith and wife Gayla, Tina Hulser and husband Dave.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Ashton Jones and husband Street, Marshall Smith and wife Lauren, Connor Hulser, Hailey Hulser, and Kendall Hulser.
