Merry H. Blank, 91, of Newnan, GA formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, wife of the late State Senator Ralph J Blank Jr. passed away peacefully on March 28, 2016. Her many stories and jokes will be missed. Her parents immigrated from Finland to Toronto, Canada where she was born February, 1, 1925. Merry met her husband Ralph in Washington D.C. while she was working at the Indian Embassy. Merry had numerous tales from her days in Washington D.C. and Florida politics. Merry’s favorite recollection was that President Kennedy kissed her hand twice while in a receiving line in Palm Beach Florida.
She is survived by her daughters, Liisa Spinello (Donald) of North Palm Beach, FL, Michelle S. Blank, Newnan, GA, grandson Jeremy Blank, Glenville, NC, and granddaughter Jenna McDonough (Evan) Jupiter, Florida and great-grandson Reef McDonough.
She was predeceased by her daughter Pamela H. Blank in 2008.
