Merlin Garrett (75) went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2022. He was born on November 4, 1946, in Canon City, Colorado to Cecil and Eileen Garrett.
Mr. Garrett was Catholic in faith. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Blue Mesa and Eleven Mile Reservoirs, as well as any other body of water he could cast into.
Merlin enlisted in the Marine Corps in February 1965 and was honorably discharged in March 1972.
He is survived by his sister Maxine (Carl Bittner), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including his dearest friend, Abe.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Eileen Garrett, siblings Kenny, Stanley, Marie, Sharon, Marjorie, and Loretta.
