Merlin Saltzman of Hebron, NE beloved husband, father and grandfather was born April 12, 1924, the son of Jacob and Lydia (Detweiler) Saltzman. He departed this life Monday November 10, 2008 at his home in Hebron, NE.
He graduated from Shickley, NE High School and was a member of the Salem Mennonite Church in Shickley, NE.
In 1943 he married Ellen Ingles, the love of his life for sixty-five years. This union was blessed with the birth of four children, two sons and two daughters.
Merlin worked the land on the family farm, but his love was custom harvesting and the open road.
