Merlene Asay, 78, passed away January 4, 2013. She was born April 13, 1934 to Julie Bowen and V. Noble Hinckley in Provo, Utah where she graduated from Provo High School. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Merlene married Jack Asay on April 15, 1954. In 1965 they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
She enjoyed time spent with family, friends and her cats. She worked at McKay Dee Hospital.
Merlene is survived by her 4 daughters, Pamela (Terry) Emmett, Sheree Asay, Julie Asay and Angelia Randall; 3 granddaughters, Dallas Asay, Rebecca Hart and Dawna Jo Keyes; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Linda Nickle and LeeAnn (Robert) Spackman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; brother, Donald and a great-granddaughter.
