Meriam Hill, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on October 9, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1930, in Carrollton, Georgia to the late Clifton Lamar Lyle and Susie Robinson Lyle. Along with her parents, Meriam is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jackson Hill; son, George Hill, Jr.; and her brother, Clifton Lyle. Meriam loved to cook and was known for her good southern cooking, such as, biscuits, cakes, banana pudding, and turnip greens. She was a great storyteller and always told her family the best stories. Meriam liked to sew, had beautiful handwriting, and loved her lipstick. She is survived by her children Jim (Kathy) Hill, Janet (Richard) Wunner, Becky (Mark) Craig, and daughter-in-law, Gail; grandchildren Kerri (Jeff) Tackett, Sam(Angie) Hill, Nick (Jan) Hill, Devan Hill, Casta Hill, Julie (Ryan) Witter, James Hill, Kris (Mike) Bloodworth, Kaylee (Matt) Harris, and Justin (JaNae) Krause; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
