MERCEDES F. HARTNETT
Born on April 17, 1911 in St. Louis Missouri, she was the daughter of Lafayette and Edna Campbell Foland. Mercedes graduated from high school and business school and went to work for Certain-teed. That is were she met Leslie Hartnett, the love of her life. After marriage they had two daughters, Joan and Gail.
In 1969, after Leslie passed away, Mercedes move to Florida to work at Disney.
Mercedes was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter Joan Potter. She is survived by one daughter, Gail Johnson of New Smyrna Beach; 7 grandchildren, Pastor John (Julie) Johnson of Lake Worth, Jeff (Vicki) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Karen (Tim) Scarborough of Edgewater, Susan (Chase) Pattillo of Jacksonville, Anne Fisher of Westchester, PA; Cynthia Fisher of San Francisco, CA, Jamie Fisher of Malvern, PA; 5 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.
