Melvin James Pletka, 76, of Glen Burnie, passed away at his home on December 29, 2021. He was born in Baltimore to the late Isabelle and George Pletka Sr. Melvin honorably served his country in the Army and attended the University of Baltimore, receiving his Bachelor’s degree. Melvin was an accountant for John’s Hopkins Bayview, Commercial Credit and Mitchell Asphalt.
Melvin is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Sandra G. Pletka; and his loving children, Christopher John Pletka and Erin Noel Pletka-Sherbs and her husband, Brandon Morgan Sherbs.
