Melvin H. Fowler, Jr., age 80, of Fort Walton Beach, passed away on December 11, 2006, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center .He was born in Baltimore, MD, on December 5, 1926, to Melvin H. Fowler, Sr. and Edith (White) Fowler.
Mr. Fowler lived in Baltimore, MD until moving to Fort Walton Beach in 1956. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Fowler; son, Craig Fowler and his wife, Cathy of Hickory, NC; daughter, Dianne Fowler of Birmingham, AL; sister, Gloria Widerman and her husband Robert of Baltimore, MD, two granddaughters, Danielle & Alicia Fowler; niece, Barbara Zoeller and grand nephew, J. R. Smith; and. He is also survived by many close friends, Jack Mott, Sr.
