Melvenia R. Reddish was born on September 27, 1951 in Palatka, FL, to Melvin Roberts and Roberta C. Hall.
Melvenia, fondly known as “Mel,” graduated in 1969 from Dunbar/Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, FL, and later attended St. Johns River College. She also pursued academic advancement during her later years from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Our dearly beloved departed this earthly life and went to her true home, but will always be loved by her daughter. Mel was preceded in death by her Mother, Roberta C. Hall; Father, Melvin Roberts; Aunts, Bernice Ford, Hattie S. Lee, Alice E. Hunter and Catherine Hall; Uncles, William R. Hall, Jr. and Allen N. Hall, Sr.
Mel is survived by her daughter, Tracey Chandler; cousins, Betty White, Gloria Ann Battle, Allen N. Hall, Jr., Michael Donaldson, Christopher White, Sam Battle, Jr., Denita Battle, Renita Battle and Cameron Collins, and a host of other cousins, relatives and sorrowing friends.
