Melva Odd Page
“Together Again”
Melva Odd Page, 89, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 in Ogden, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born July 22, 1924 along with her twin brother Melvin in Clearfield, Utah to Joseph Newman and Ruby Ann Clark Odd.
She married her eternal companion Darrell R. Page on July 29, 1942 in the Logan Temple. Darrell passed away May 7, 2011. They enjoyed 68 wonderful years together.
Melva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the Gospel and served in many church callings including two missions with her husband. She especially loved serving in the Baptistery in the St. George Temple.
She owned and operated Pages Day Care and Preschool for over 35 years where she touched the lives of many children. She loved her job. Melva enjoyed crocheting and being with family and friends. She was a member of the widow’s group called the “gang” in the Washington 8th Ward where they enjoyed doing everything together.
She is survived by her children: John Page of West Bountiful; Dianna (Wynn) Farr of West Haven; Sally (Jay) Elwood of West Haven; Ryan (Marlene) Page of Lehi; Jeneene (Guy) Bergeson of Roy; 28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kevin Joseph Page and daughter-in-law Linda Page.
