Melody Puma (Mel), 65, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at Crestwood Manor, Whiting. Melody grew up in Hazlet. She lived in Freehold and Colts Neck before settling in Red Bank, a town she loved and where she always aspired to live. Mel was a lover of music and took pleasure in playing the piano; she found joy in sharing this with her neighbors, serenading them from inside her Red Bank condominium. Like a true Jersey girl, she was a big fan of the Boss and the beach. Mel took pride in her appearance – never a hair out of place and always dressed impeccably. She was a social, outgoing woman with a presence and smile that could truly light up a room.
Melody’s loss will be mourned deeply by her children, whom she cherished and adored, Katie and Alex Puma; her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Monica Barrett; and her niece and nephew, Rose Barrett and Michael Lefthand.
