Melody Lynn Scott, 54 of Reedsville, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was born March 12, 1959 in Kingwood, daughter of Alice M Bever-Costello of Kingwood and the late Richard “Bill” David Costello. Melody graduated from Kingwood High School in 1977. She worked as a Teller at Clear Mountain Bank for 26 years. Melody most of all loved spending time with her family, and always put everyone and everything before herself. She enjoyed reading, gardening and working, and making sure everyone else around her was working too. Her passion was collecting lighthouses, traveling to the beach and ocean. Melody is survived by her loving husband, Richard Charles Scott whom she married on July 1, 1979, one son, Cord C Scott and wife Sasha of Morgantown; three sibling, William Costello and wife Micha, Ohio, Timothy Costello and wife Patty, Philippi, and Bonita Costello, Kingwood; several nieces and nephews.
