She enjoyed cooking, ballroom dancing, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a former Brownie Troop Leader.
She is survived by her parents, Ralph & Patricia Louise Boheim Lakes of Anderson; siblings, Michelle & husband Jim Afflitto of Massachusetts, Michael & wife Dana Lakes of Pendleton, Mitchell Lakes of Anderson, Marty & wife Jennifer Lakes of Pendleton, Matthew Lakes & friend Lisa Isom of Anderson and Mark & wife Tammy Lakes of Fishers; nieces and nephews, Daniel Lakes of Anderson, Rachel Lakes and Jennifer Lakes of Pendleton, Bryce Afflitto and Lillian Afflitto of Massachusetts and Laura Lakes of Fishers; close friends, Sharon McElfresh and Jeff Weiss. Fiance’: David Vantress; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded by her grandparents and one aunt.
