Mellissa (Sacco) Pelletier, 41, of Newington, mother of Nicole Pelletier, 19, of Newington, both died Thursday, April 5th at their home. From the day Nicole was born, she and her daughter were inseparable. Nicole was a special needs child and Melissa devoted herself to Nicole. Nicole leaves behind her father, Edward Pelletier. Born in New Britain, Mellissa was the daughter of Diane (Shaw) Sacco and the late Joseph Sacco and granddaughter of Ruth (Lind) Shaw and the late Joseph Shaw. Mellissa and Nicole are also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Along with her maternal grandfather, Mellissa was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, William and Mary (Campagna) Sacco.
