Melissa S. Harding, 33, of Williamsport died unexpectedly Sunday, March 1, 2020. She is survived by her loving fiancé, Joseph F. Eckert.
Born November 15, 1986 in Williamsport she was a daughter of David M. and Arlene B. Harding.
Surviving in addition to her parents and fiancé are her children; Benjamin C. Harding and Jordon M. Eckert; a step son, Jaryan J. Jackson; sister, Danielle N. Harding (Jason Ostroskie), of Bellefonte; nephew, Dominic Ostroskie, Paternal grandparents, Tony and Carol Harding; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Melissa was a graduate of Williamsport High School and continued her education at the University of Phoenix earning Bachelor’s degrees in Hotel and Restaurant management. She worked as a manager and server at the Brickyard Restaurant in Williamsport, where she thoroughly enjoyed her job and coworkers.
Melissa was extremely crafty, often creating artwork and décor for her home. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time outdoors. Melissa also enjoyed the sunshine, but didn’t realize that she was the sunshine in her family’s eyes. She was a terrific mother, showing tremendous love for her sons. She loved her family and friends, as they meant everything to her and she will be greatly missed.
