On July 29, 2022, Melissa Louise Painter passed away at age 49. Melissa was a resident and cherished part of the Langton Green family. She had a strong belief in God and love for her family. Melissa enjoyed bowling every Saturday, and going to the Bingo Hall with her grandmother. She loved to travel, and her favorite place was to be sitting in Martys Playland in Ocean City playing the slot Machines. She loved dogs and could sit and do puzzles for hours. Proudly she participated in the Special Olympics every year.

Melissa Louise Painter was the beloved daughter of Charles Painter, Jr. and his late wife Deborah, and the late Linda Peterson and her late husband Frank; loving sister of Cathy Addis and husband Joseph, Richard Guerin and wife Kimberly; cherished niece of Nancy Clark, Wayne and Eileen Tillman, Morris and Sandy Tillman, George and Pat Gray, Pam McCormick, Tilly Shrader (godmother) and the late Bob Price (godfather), and the late Bill Shrader; dear aunt of Jacob, Jeremy and Emily Guerin and Jordan and Rylie Addis.
