Melissa is survived by her mother Ruth Rodgers. Siblings Keith Carlson and Megan Carlson. Nephew Devon Abeyta. Her dogs Eros, Gaia, and Alice. Her cat Samantha.
She is also survived by her Grandmother Jean Kinsella. Aunts Jill, Claudia, and Anita Kinsella. Uncles Bob and David Kinsella. Cousins Zak, Dustin, Maranda, Sabrina, Ben, and Emma Kinsella.
She is preceded in death by her spouse Vincent Perry on May 6, 2015 and her Papa George Kinsella on Dec 11, 1994.
She graduated from Wasson High School, earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communication from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and then completed her MBA in Business Organization Management from the University of Phoenix.
Melissa had successful careers in sales and management in the higher education, finance, and communication industries.
Melissa loved music, but not pop music. She had a passion for fashion, makeup, and hair. She loved art, sharing a love of Monet with her Mom and Megan. She enjoyed the outdoors and liked hiking and had the opportunity to travel to many foreign countries with family and friends. She found a community of love and support in her friends from The Lodge and made lasting impact on people working through recovery.
In this time of sadness, celebrate one of Melissa’s many passions to honor her life.
