GREENSBORO- Melissa Janet Pulliam, 45, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.
Ms. Pulliam was born on November 5, 1974 to the late Leroy and Cornell Pulliam in Durham, NC. She was loyal and deeply committed to her friends from childhood, maintaining those cherished friendships for over 40 years. Melissa was a passionate Duke fan, and gifted athlete participating in multiple sports at Lowes Grove Middle School and Southern High School. She was the first woman in the RTP terminal to own and establish her own FedEx Ground contractor business, breaking down barriers in her career field, successfully winning awards for her accomplishments. She was dearly loved by her family and friends who are all very proud of our little fighter.
Ms. Pulliam is survived by her brother, Jimmy Pulliam (Tricia) of Holden Beach, NC; sister, Kimberly Allee (David) of McLeansville, NC; nephews, Jamie, Brandon, Brooks, Tyler, and Hunter.

Take Glenwood Ave into Durham, stay straight Glenwood becomes Hwy 70. Take exit onto Hwy 98 (just passed Carr Rd exit). At the light turn left onto Holloway St/Hwy 98. Pass through 2 lights and at the Holloway St/Miami Blvd intersection turn left.
