Melissa J. Crum, age 48 of Sunman, Indiana, entered this life on March 10, 1966 in Greensburg, Indiana and passed away Sunday,June 1, 2014 at her home. Melissa graduated from the Oldenburg Academy in Oldenburg, Indiana and also from Marian University, Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from college, she taught school at St. Mary’s in Greensburg, Indiana. Melissa married Alan Eugene Crum June 6, 1992. This happy union blessed them with three children. As her children expressed, she was a wonderful mother and a GREAT cook! Side by side for many years, she and her husband Alan ran and operated Crum Farms near Sunman. She loved the farm. Melissa actually helped plant the crops, drive the farm trucks and helped with the raising of turkeys, hogs and cattle. Music was another passion of Melissa and Alan’s .
