Melissa is survived by her sons: Alec Candelaria (Mariah Duran), Trey Pope; parents Frank and Ilene Valtierra; brother Damon Alvarez (Zoe Ann); sister Crissy Baca; nephews: Damon Alvarez (Kaella), Jacob Pacilli (Rachel); nieces: Tina Baca (Phil Heller), Aubri Navarrette (Hunter), as well as great nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
Melissa was a beloved mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She devoted her life to raising her sons Alec and Trey, being their mom was her greatest joy.
