Melissa “Missy” Smith, 36, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Pace, Florida, on March 19, 2019.
She was born March 28, 1982, grew up and went to school in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and recently moved to Pace with her family.
Melissa is predeceased by her parents, Alice Sisley, and Edris “Skip” Sisley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Samuel Lee Smith, and her amazing children, Alissa Nevaeh Smith (11 years old) and Maddox Samuel Smith (8 years old), who she loved more than anything.
She also leaves behind her brothers Darrell Jensen and Rodney Jensen, sister Bridgette Jensen, and her large supportive family-in-laws: Ronald Smith (father-in-law), Amy Walker (sister-in-law) and her children, Hunter and Abbi Walker, PJ Smith (brother-in-law) and his wife Tiffany, as well as their children: Seth, Skyler, Savanna, Jace, Waylon, and Liliana Smith; Cannon Smith (brother-in-law) and his wife, Sarah, as well as their child, Francis Smith, and Maggie Smith (sister-in-law).
Melissa was loved deeply by her family, and by the childhood and high school friends she considered family.
She lived to love her children, and she was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. Anyone who knows her, will miss her dearly.
Gone too young, but never forgotten.
