Those left to honor Melinda’s memory are her husband, Russell; two sons, Rusty Quick of Newton, and Kerry Jake Quick of Newton; daughter, Lori Edwards of Newton; her two grandchildren, Tristan and Teegan Edwards; mother, Joann Keenan of Newton; her brother, Jerry (Barbara) Keenan of Newton; her two sisters, Sonja (Ed) Hull of Newton, and Pam (Mark Quick) Keenan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Keenan.
Melinda was a lifelong resident of Newton and surrounding area. She was a graduate of Newton High School in 1975.
Melinda owned and operated Quick’s Concrete with her husband, Russell. She also worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and in Housekeeping at Skiff Medical Center.
Melinda enjoyed riding her mule, dancing, music, her dogs and coon hunting.
