Melanie A. Taylor, age 62, of Salem, died Sunday February 7, 2016 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 24, 1953 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy T. and Mary “Pat” (Ramsey) McMillan.
Mrs. Taylor worked her entire adult life in retail, 25 years at Ames Dept. Store and the last 12 years with Big Lots in Austintown.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Krepps of Salem and Thyrel McMillan of Salem; her sister, Gwendolyn Linder of Salem and Yvonne Penelope McGrath of Youngstown.
Survivors include her husband, Mark whom she married January 15, 1972, her daughter, Lisa (Dale) Kuntz; granddaughter, Sara Walpert grandson, Austin Kuntz, and great grandson, Zackary Myers.
