Loyd McHenry, of Salem, Arkansas, son of the late Jessie Isaac Mc Henry and Emily Rosetta Pulley Mc Henry was born August 5, 1923 in Saddle, Arkansas. He died July 12, 2013 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, at the age of 89 years 11 months and 24 days.
He was united in marriage to Alice Merle Haney October 23, 1945. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a self -employed farmer and a member of the Moko Church of Christ.
Survivors include his children: Keith Mc Henry and wife Donna of Salem, and David Mc Henry and wife Lee Ann of Salem; grandchildren: Mark Mc Henry and wife Tina of Vilonia, Jon Mc Henry and wife Staci of Glencoe, Stephanie Mc Henry, and Celina Mc Henry both of Salem; great-grand children: Lauren Mc Henry, Jamison Mc Henry, and Jayden Mc Henry; one sister, Mattie Estes of Mammoth Spring; one brother, William Isaac Mc Henry and wife Elvia of Raymore, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alice Haney Mc Henry, siblings: Curtis Mc Henry, Gussie Mc Henry, Grace Hurtt, Agnes Mooney, Oletha Haney, and Emily Shaver; and his father and mother.
