He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard D. and Laura Richards and sister, Gail Fiedler.
He is survived by his children, Charles Michael Richards, Cartersville, GA, Kathryn Laurel Richards, Clarkston, GA; and sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Stephen Tayes, Kissimmee, FL.; several nieces and nephews.
