Maybelle (Mrs. David R. Bob) Shelton, 85, of rural Marseilles, died October 15, at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Shelton was born on April 30, 1921 in Ottawa to James and Jenny (Davis) Huston. She married David Robert Shelton on March 8, 1940 in Morris. He died on April 12, 1999. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and various church circles. She retired from Carson Pirie Scott where she was a manager and cook at the Round the Clock Restaurant.
She is survived by one daughter Louise (George) Latham, of Peru; two sons, James (Vickie) of Oakdale, Tennessee, and Tom (Carol) of Hortonville, Wisconsin, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, David, 2 sisters, one granddaughter, and 8 great-grandchildren.
