May Crescione, age 87, formerly of Bridgeport and beloved wife to Sam Crescione, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Orange.  Born on May 22, 1927 in Old Forge, PA., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Margaret Seaman Hope. May became a registered nurse during WWII in the Cadet Nursing program and continued in her profession as an operating nurse at Bridgeport Hospital.  Prior to her retirement, May was a school nurse for the City of Bridgeport.

In addition to her husband, Sam of 64 wonderful years, she is survived by her daughters; Hope Annunziato and her husband Frank of New Haven, Cheryl Watts and her husband William of Orange and Jill Mack and her husband Michael of Bridgeport; six cherished grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She is also survived by sister, Marsha Hope Cowan and her husband Kenneth of Shelton and many other loving nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Norman W. and Fred Hope.
