Maxine Louise Smallwood Nay, 83, of Clarksburg, passed away January 21, 2011 at Heartland Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born February 1, 1927 in Clarksburg, WV the son of the late Charles Grover Smallwood and Nellie Terry Smallwood Ferrell. She is survived by two daughters; Patricia Fagan of Clarksburg and Rebecca Cutright of Clarksburg; five grandchildren; Kimberly Wright, Crystal Carder, Kevin Cottrill, Jessica Lopresti, Jeff Cutright,, 9 great-grandchildren; Douglas Cottrill, Sarah Carder, Sierra Carder, Tiera Cutright, Josh Cutright, Aaron Lopresti, Dominic Lopresti, Gabriel Lopresti, Joshua Wright; two great great grandchildren, Sunshine Reed and Naleigha Carder; and one sister; Ruth Richison, Columbus, OH. She was preceded in death by two children; Eugene Nay and Delma Nay; three brothers; Donald, Bob and Eugene Smallwood and three sisters; Sylvia Tierney, Virginia Keyser and Betty Tierney. Mrs. Nay was self employed as a house keeper and was Baptist by faith.
