Maxine was born on March 10th, 1925, the youngest of 13 children. She was a self-confessed spoiled little girl. She was raised in Dingle Idaho, but couldn’t wait to get out and see the world. She worked as a stenographer at Fort Douglas, and lived in Salt Lake City. She attended classes at the LDS Business College. She returned home after WW2 ended. She married Keith Parker in October 1946. They started their family with Cheryl in 1947, Brent in 1948, and Jan in 1951. The death of Keith in 1953 began her trek to Boise in 1954.
There is a special gratitude that we wish to express to Pattie House, where Maxine had lived since January 2016. These caregivers gave mom the most gentle loving care possible. We especially express this to “Saint” Sunny whose loving spirit touched us all. Our gratitude also extends to all of the wonderful staff at Keystone Hospice.
