Maxine Channell, 84, beloved aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on November 18, 2020. She entered this world on January 16, 1936 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, born to John and Lula Brown. She is survived by her sister Maurine Ray, numerous nieces and nephews- and special friends and neighbor, Jan and Wayne Rushing. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, of whom she celebrated over 50 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Sullivan and Myran Reed, and brothers, John T. Brown, Milford (Bill) Brown, Raiford Brown, and Edsel Brown. Maxine loved her Heavenly Father and was a member of Northwood Hills Baptist Church. Aunt Maxine will be greatly missed.
